Succession on HBO

Next season has to have a huge recovery episode in number one, there isn't a show if he's killed the kids.

I have a personal theory on last night's episode and ending.

SPOILER

While I'm 99% sure it was ultimately Tom that ratted out the kids. I think there is a chance they're doing a slight of hand and that the person that actually told Logan was...Connor. The 'I AM the eldest son' anger speech earlier in the episode, how he's never included in anything, being made fun of, etc. coupled with the fact Roman was talking to Con on the phone when the rest of the siblings were in in the van on the way to Logan and Roman said 'This IS me layering you in, Con. I can't get into it now it's too complicated, dumdum'...I could 100% see Connor saying **** it and ratting out the siblings and also getting a leg up with dad.

I'm wondering where this will go next season. I'm happy the siblings are all on the same page regarding Logan, but if the kids are shutout of the new GoJo/WaystarRoy how can there be a "Succession"? I'm wondering if it's possible that Ken has some GoJo stock or board seat through Matsson? It just strikes me that Logan said he doesn't trust Ken at the moment when Logan should have all the cards.

Tom and Greg show now. In all in.

I just caught up with the end of season 3. What a fantastic show. So many great performances. Tom and Greg's relationship is one of the best parts of the show. Can't wait until next season

I was reading an article, last week, that ranked the characters by least evil/conniving to most. To be clear, every character is evil/conniving to some degree, but there are degrees If I recall correctly, Gerri was ranked the lowest, with Logan coming out on top by a country mile, and Connor ranked pretty high as well.

Such a good show.

Based on that trailer, if the show ends with Logan going down...it could come from Jerri and her team. Which I could see. As much as the kids 'hate' him they can never truly pull the trigger taking him all the way down. One of them always weasels back to him.

And I find that to be very believable and true to life. As someone who had a complicated relationship with my father (albeit without the burden of billions of dollars) it feels genuine to see Logan's children struggle with the idea of dethroning their father.

Was Greg on the list?

Anyone watch last night? Great episode!

Greg has almost grown a spine. The rats go all in to beat Logan at something. That's not going bite then later. Logan looking at his party guests disgusted, obviously wishing his kids were there. Kind of sad the bodyguard is the only one he can talk to. Did Tom intentionally leak the deal? Shiv and Tom at the end makes me think so.

Favorite Line: Crunchy Peanut-butter.

This show never loses a step. I think nearly every single character on this show is just ******* awful for many reasons. I kind of hope they all just get ****** in the end. I absolutely love Sarah Snook and she plays the character so well but Shiv is absolutely deplorable to me.

The dialogue between Tom and Greg last night was next level. I was laughing so hard at some of the exchanges.

Loved it! They picked up right where they left off, didn’t spend much time ramping it back up again at all

Have mixed feelings on the Tom / Shiv impending divorce. Sort of feel bad for them both, even though Shiv doesn’t really deserve a lot of sympathy.

I was yelling at my TV at the end of episode 2. Don't do it, Roman!

He's had some hilarious one-liners this season. "Hey Budha, nice Tom Fords"
