Came in for supper flipped the TV on does anyone else notice the similarity between Miyam Biliak(spelling?) and Nora Richardt on WOI news?

Heard on the radio the Hawks are doing a MBB WBB double header at Wells Fargo this winter. Better them than us. I hate giving up home games and it's a short 45 minutes from D.M. to Ames anyone who wants to attend can already.

If we did something like that, it should be in Cedar Rapids. Iowa is just concerned how ISU is taking over the Des Moines metro with that being the largest growth area in the state.

Granted, I haven't been in US Cellular in about 20 years, but it was small and terrible. Has it gotten any better? I don't think they want to do a home game in a small terrible arena like that unless there is some other perk like a sweetheart TV slot and lots of free promotion.

EDIT: I just learned that they changed their name again and US Cellular arena is now the one in Milwaukee. So now it is Alliant Energy PowerHouse? I'm pretty sure the last time I was in it it was still known as Five Seasons Center.

The arena up here is pretty lucky. They have had the same naming rights deal since it opened. The Target Center naming rights deal I believe is the longest running deal of its kind in the country. It has been Target Center since it opened its doors over 30 years ago.

It would be dumb to to one at the powerhouse. It fit's it's purpose and surprisingly gets a decent amount of use from the normal smaller events plus they have hosted NCAA D3 wrestling championships, CR also hosts the D3 World Series.

Just a throw out town, more that entering into what is considered an Iowa stronghold. We did play in Sioux falls at the pentagon IIRC.

Most Little Debbie snacks are better out of the fridge.
I don't think I've had any kind of snack cake for over 20 years.
Whenever It was it would be about a 99.9% chance it would have been these

That is where the sweetheart slot and lots of free promotion comes in. I could be misremembering but I thought that was some sort of ESPN promoted deal where they played it up with a bunch of ads and carried the game in an exclusive time slot. I could be wrong though.

It's the same with the exempted tournaments. They are often in tiny arenas or even hotel ballrooms but the competition and coverage - or at least hype from the media - make them worthwhile.

I am really disappointing at this moment that I don't have photoshop skills. I would take out that second H, turn the second O so it looks more like an E and push the letters back together. That would be a useful graphic to respond to many posts -- "Hoes"

EDIT: My OCD is cropping up again. I noticed that the curl on the Os and the curl on the actual swiss roll are in opposite directions. Couldn't they have cut into the opposite end of the roll so they roll the same way? ;)

Read this article and learned a great deal thanks to the easy-to-understand language used by the author Ted Heindel, ISU professor of thermal science. Peanut butter is a liquid according to TSA, and science.
Frankly, asphalt could be considered a liquid as well. Especially in July.

For many mixes of materials the line between solid and liquid gets pretty squishy if you'll pardon the pun.
