Makes them easier to move if you lop off the roots. Don't grow very well, though.
I have three neighbors to mow for also, so I probably should get started. Probably move it down a couple notches just to help even the height out.
A neighbor had his special needs grand kid mow his lawn once. Set it on level 1 and took it to town.
The bloodline through my mother of always wanting to have a nice looking lawn just made me wince.
I was close to doing this...but most of my yard still looks dormant...must be a different blend of grass than the rest of my neighborhood. Mine is always the last grass to start greening up but once it does, it comes in looking great.
I can do both, although a little rusty on both.

Did my last weekend of double restaurant double shifts. I'm not sure there's anything in my legs that doesn't ache, but that part is over.
We loved two-stepping & country waltzes & circle dances - did a lot of that when we were dating. The lack of country bars has pretty much stopped that now. Not sure I have the knees for it anymore, either.
We done ****** up. LittleWx's cat had been peeing outside the box so put him in basement bathroom while we cleaned up stuff and figure out if it's a behavioral thing or not. Made him a vet appointment this morning but when I went down to get him he was dead. This is going to be a rough afternoon and evening.
Wife's boss is going on a month long safari, this is all I can think of:

Kept the long-term restaurant, changing the second on in for a custodial job.
So, not necessarily great, but shorter hours. Basically spread out the impact on the legs to (mainly) 4 hours a day instead of the 32 or so hour weekends and longer days.
We found that the impact of working until 10, 11, or 12 was tough on my (a lot of 2 hour sleep nights) and tough on our really attached kiddo, so this looked like a decent option. And, well, all the other options said no.
