I'm happy with the 3 guys we got, so don't take this the wrong way, but how do some of you feel about Williams to Tech. I mean CW made it sound like it was mutual that he didn't fit here but why does he fit at Tech more? Just curious is all.
Maybe he was told here that he would start off as a rotation piece and he wants to be a starter. Maybe he was told or believes he can start at Tech. Maybe we wanted Curtis Jones more so we told him whatever we had to have him move on. Maybe he’s a DB. Stats don’t mean a player fits your culture. Fans have a hard time reconciling that.
those are valid considerations. Admittedly I haven't stayed caught up with how many guys Tech has returning either, plus a new coaching staff.

No knowledge here but I wouldn’t be surprised if he was asking for a lot as far as playing time / starting goes and TJ couldn’t guarantee that.
I think it was more of positional fit within our offense.
Could be Williams was non-commital during his visit, so TJ decided not to play the wait and see game with him. Moved on to the guys that indicated they wanted to be Cyclones.
Three reasons: Omaha, Demarion, Tre. We're set where he fits in, IMO
I really wanted him but bet he will do well with Bennett at Virginia.
And Creighton got Ashworth the lucky dogs. McDermott has no lack of NIL$ or reputation to sell now. Good for him I guess.
Not really talking position so much as role. All three offer a similar athletic and physical presence.
