I am not making this up. The guy that interviewed him before the season was over must be making it up. You can clearly read in the interview that the season was coming to an end. Not that it ended and that TJ had already tipped him off that he may be leaving . Ill put the interview down below. So don't say I am making it up and it's weird. "As the season unfolded" isn't exactly specific wording for making a timeline like you're suggesting...and it's not a direct quote from the interview anyway.

And by the way I have no dog in this fight, but everyone who paid attention knew this was coming after the 19-20 season. The only way it wasn't was if Prohm pulled a rabbit out of his hat and won the conference. ISU tanking in 20-21 just made JP's job easier.
