Mark Adams out at Texas Tech. He has mistreated people for years on his winding path to that job. Great bench coach but not a good guy. He lobbied for the job for many years. Be careful what you wish for.

Funny how some on here didn’t think what he said was that bad…. when in fact…. it was awful and it cost him his job.
He will hold out for Iowa and wait until Fran takes the ND job.
Man I really don't want Iowa to get a good hire
Rumors are Grant McCasland from UNT and Paul Mills from Oral Roberts are the frontrunners. The ORU guy runs an up-tempo offense, which would be interesting in the Big 12.
The guy was always a odd fit. Looked like someone’s grandfather.
I don't think what he said was great, but not bad enough to be fired. This has been building for a while with other things going on (like spitting on a player). I also get the feeling Tech was looking for a reason to get rid of him too.
Back to the basement for Tech. Good riddance
My Tech coworker says they were just looking for any reason to push him out.
It was a weird hire. Kind of reminds me of when that old dude got the WVU football job after Rich Rod left. May have made some sense in the extreme short term but was unlikely to be a long term solution.
I said "disgruntled accountant" but gf's kid said "guidance counsellor" and we decided she won.
I hope they fall. The problem to me is that Tech has a lot of money.
Who would have that that a guy that divorced his wife and ran off with his late twin brother's widow had some questionable character issues? I mean, this came out of nowhere.
I don't think Tech is going away. With the money and facilities they have, I could see them spending a lot for a splashy hire, or opening up the NIL checkbook to get talented transfers. Plus, they have a good nucleus of young talent there, if they stay.
