I have to think JJ Watt feels a bit better about his decision to retire.

Always a good idea to find the AED location when out and about - gym, kids athletic events, airport , etcCoworkers this morning talked about AED training and knowing where the AEDs are located.
I'm staying positive. He's young, in incredible shape, and has received the best possible care in timely fashion.Man I hope so. This doesn't feel like a no news is good news situation.
Very smart idea. The instructions for an AED are very simple but it’s a good idea to check every couple months to make sure the unit turns on and is working. Also make sure people know what to do if the guy is very hairy. There are some other things like checking a bra for an underwire but that might not fly at workCoworkers this morning talked about AED training and knowing where the AEDs are located.

I had to keep current on CPR certification up until a few years ago which includes AED training. They've come a long way since the defribulators you use to see on TV with the big paddles. Thankfully never had to use the training.Coworkers this morning talked about AED training and knowing where the AEDs are located.
Red Cross has classes, usually quality instructors too. We have to take ours every two years.Wife and I were talking last night it's probably a good time for a CPR and AED refresher.
I also thought Ryan Clark and SVP did a really good job. Not going all hot take and SVP repeatedly saying we are just trying to report on what we know.
Saw this tweet last night. If this is indeed his course of treatment, there simply might not be much to say for awhile.

Two quick things.
1. That post is a potential massive HIPAA violation of accurate
2. Just because the public isn’t getting news doesn’t mean the family isn’t. They will also most likely want him awake to check on brain function before making any kind of announcement.
On point 1. I think you are misinterpreting what that person is saying and/or how they are involved. Two quick things.

Yeah, I misread it at first.I think you're misreading that. It isn't Hamlin's doctor, just a doctor commenting on the protocol based on what is reported. Wouldn't be a HIPAA violation.

100% misread it as Hamlin’s physician. Super sensitive to HIPAA stuff and these public cases always makes me think the worst of people.1. As others have responded, there's no indication this is Hamlin's actual doctor.
2. That's essentially what I meant.
Doesn't HIPPA pertain to anyone with knowledge of the situation, not just the overseeing doctor? Like if you read the report or was informed by the attending doctor. What I always though, but I know I was always very careful to not be the one who leaked info, or even gossip, about any runs we had.100% misread it as Hamlin’s physician.
