Bayless is right. You can postpone it but you probably can't finish it, even later on. Just call the game at 3-7. Nobody cares any more.

He worded it in a way that made it sound like he's most concerned with the 'magnitude' of the game and straight knew it.

The logistics for such a thing are what's taken care of much later than when players are just trying to get their hands to stop shaking.
 
I assume that's what was happening on the field before the coaches took the teams to the locker rooms.
Agreed. They came back from that break, and the announcers said that the league office said the game was being resumed and each team was being given 5 minutes to get ready to start. Then the buffalo coach talked to the officials and everyone left the field. No idea of the teams refused to resume, but that's what it felt like

They just called it for the night, will revisit with teams on next steps.
 
Just read that supposedly Tee Higgins' dad died a few months ago of cardiac arrest. If true, that has to only make this that much harder on him as he struggles with having dealt the blow. Prayers for him as well.
