These networks have enough old footage of stuff to come back in 15-20 to give an update. Or as someone else suggested, just run commercials.

So they just said its Gidell's decision on the game after he talks to the team? There is no way he can put the teams back on the field. just feels wrong.
It's an intense stage and teams go after each other and all but in the end they're in this same sort of fraternity together and this is one you put down the pads for a sec and take a break.
I'm curious if the teams vote to play but I also can't imagine wanting to do much of anything after seeing that and being around the aftermath.
There’s no good answer, but my vote would be postpone to tomorrow or Wednesday. Bills/Pats and Steelers/Ravens play next Monday/Tuesday, and then get back on track after that
I live by a very simple credo if skip bayless has an opinion I am of the opposite opinion.
Throw this into the 'things to leave in 2022' thread; how about people being publicly as awful as possible just because of clicks.
I truly despise that turd. I wrote a couple of years ago that I would pay money to watch him be set on fire. Nothing he has said, done, or written since has changed my mind on that stance.
Life over a damn game, cancel it. That was emotional to witness and I’m at home nowhere near that state, stadium etc. I’m hoping like hell he makes it.
I can't stand Bayless but he is probably right. I don't think he's even saying they need to play now. You can postpone it but you probably can't finish it, even later on. Just call the game at 3-7. Nobody cares any more.
He should be fired for that post
