Vasectomy

Anybody in particular recommended to do the deed? I remember CW had one advertised years ago, but don't know if one is better than any other (DSM area). I've been saying I need to for awhile so what better time than now.

Bonus points if I can get in before my cruise at the end of January.

Several friends got theirs done by their family doctor. That seemed crazy to me.

I went to a mass production urology clinic.

I didn't want some dude who does 2 per year. I wanted someone who does 5 per day.

Did you know that when a 600 lb bull becomes a steer, its tongue turns blue from the howling it does during the 45 seconds my dad took to complete the procedure? =B^O

Who needs a Urologist when you could just join these guys:

Show their solidarity with women who don't for birth. Be real men.
From my rotation in OB, any woman that chooses to give birth without meds is an idiot. Things happen where it can be to late but if someone makes a plan to forgo meds their sanity should be questioned.

I remember my wife's almost instant reaction to how much the epidural helped. That stuff must kick in quick.

I’ve always said women are crazy. Because if men had the babies there would only be 1 kid in every family. There’s no way we would do it again after going through that pain. My hat is off to the ladies.

Get one. Took us a little while to have our first, then it seemed like all it took was for me to look at my wife wrong and she was pregnant again. Have 3 kids. I was done after 2. Now no need to worry, plus wife stayed on BC for regulation and actually stays on full time and skips her period. Worry free playtime year round.

My process for getting it done was interesting tho. Turned my 2 week notice in on a Friday (20th). Wife gave birth to 3rd kid on next Tuesday (24th). Spent the rest of that week on paternity leave. Last day at that job was Friday the 4th. Started new job on the 7th. Hurried up and got snipped on the 25th so I was still covered by previous employer insurance and deductible was met. Wife is a nurse practitioner and called in a favor with facility’s urologist. Worked me in on a Friday afternoon. He had no help so my wife was the assist for it. I was back at work on Monday.

Lots of good reasons to, I did not choose that. I had 10k of useless epidural instead.

My wife choose not to because she didn’t want the nausea. She did fine. She thinks you’re a big ***** but that’s mostly because you’re a spartan fan.
