Why are people ******** about flights being cancelled this was forecasted last week.

This is why some of the meteorologists were kinda annoying about this (Definitely not talking about any on here). Example, saw tweets from CR meteorologist on KGAN saying snow totals don’t matter and complaining that people were asking about snow totals before the storm. Currently you are now seeing the areas north of 30 being closed (had more snow) and roads remaining passable south of 80 where less snow fell. I get what that meteorologist meant, but the message was delivered poorly and the totals did matter.
The ones on here are informative as always and most predicted this storm pretty spot on.

Our 18mth old seems to be coming around now but I called the clinic Tuesday to ask about cough and fever. Was worried he'd develop bronchiolitis or pneumonia and turn for the worse last night or today. I really wonder what happens in that cases like this. Call 911 and hope an ambulance can make it? Find someone with a snowmobile?
I think we can safely say, this strom was no dud! Very strong, cold, and widespread!
Just realized our basement shower has no water. The sink is fine. I put a small heater in it to thaw it out. Is it better to have the heater on the ground or higher up. Ugh
Thank you! He'll be fine and our roads don't seem to yet be as bad. But those shelter in place warnings...what happens if you have a medical emergency?
Good question. My guess is that they would try to get to the person, if at all possible, via 4 wheel drive vehicle, or ambulance following a snowplow. But it would have to be life or death.

I thought that the message of by the weather people was exactly spot on.
And there is barely a drip when I turn in on full blast. Should I leave it wide open while I have the heater on it?

They'd hop in one of those weather "tanks", storm chaser ones, with Reed Timmer, and go into harm's way!!
Or they'd just tag along with the postal carrier!

I'm confused why @iowastatefan1929 is posting these pointless tweets about Karens sad that flights are cancelled. It's not something malicious by the airlines, this weather is just seriously dangerous to travel in.
Wow! I did that last year, when I was running regularly. But it was probably only -10 to -15 wind chill. Still pretty crazy!
I commend your (our) persistence, or stupidity! Kind of a habit, isn't it?
