*** CFB Championship Week Games Thread***

tOSU is pretty much a shoe in and they'll do everything they can to get Bama in.
I hope we don’t find out but it would be fascinating to know what effect a narrow loss would have on TCU.

They'll refer to something like this while ignoring the % of Big 12 teams that are up there in the Top 20.

Other thing they will have a problem with is if Georgia wins and they try to place Bama in the four, how do they explain them jumping OSU also. It would be two rematches in the semis if they don't, that is why I think with USC losing that TCU will be in no matter what.

hmmm, that is a hard call. Michigan struggled at home with a pretty good Illinois team, but killed Ohio State in Columbus. If Michigan steams rolls today they might be peaking. If I were betting right now, I would take Michigan.
Michigan is now without their heisman candidate RB. Would be a battle against TCU. Honestly Georgia is going to beat all these teams by 20-30, it’s just not even close

Agree. It’s Georgia and then a huge drop off I’m afraid. Hopefully we get one good CFP game out of the three.

If OSU gets Georgia it’s is going to be an epic defeat. Michigan can hang a bit especially if Georgia decides to pound the ball but if we have to throw against Georgia things are going to get real interesting real fast

I think Ohio State would be a very interesting test for Georgia. If I'm a Georgia fan I'd rather play any of other 3. I think Ohio state keeps it close

I honestly believe TCU matches up with Michigan and will beat them if matched up.

OSU has major problems on defense and with their Oline. Add in the fact that Day is really bad in big games and Georgia is insanely stacked and it’s an ass beating waiting to happen.

I legit haven’t watched hardly any of TCU but Michigan is far from a juggernaut. If TCU can somewhat contain the run and prevent the wide open receiver running down the field it will be a game for sure.

Agree. tOSU is probably the last team Georgia wants in the semis. This could be setting up similar to 2015 when the Buckeyes got in at #4, beat Bama and won the whole thing.

They run our defense, which is set to stop the run. People think that our 3 man front is for stopping the pass, but it really is to stop the run by creating gaps and allowing backers to shoot thru the gaps created by the lineman coming out when they aren't used to it.

The only way this is even a conversation is if TCU loses by > 14pts. Even then, it's hard to see the argument for anyone else.

Day was awful against Michigan no argument their. Way too conservative when he needed to put up points and team was very undisciplined. I just don't think there's another team that will be able to pressure Georgia's defense like Ohio State except maybe Alabama

That OSU team played defense and had a really explosive offense. This OSU team is very average at a lot of positions. Georgia would eat them alive
