A lot of people will disagree, and I totally get that, but I would like to see ISU pull the rip chord on Campbell. It really sucks, because I think Campbell is a good dude, but I think it's over and anyone who thinks he can turn it around is only kidding themselves.

I can't explain what happened and why things went south so quickly. I think the answer is probably just catching lightning in a bottle with Breece and Heacock. We aren't recruiting well, the team isn't in a good spot, and next year's team is clearly going to be significantly worse. I just don't see why you would stick with it.

It would be dumb as hell to fire Campbell after this season. Get real.

If next season is similar it's at least time to start the chatter.

Basic execution in a handful of these games and we're looking at 7 wins right now. Oddly that would have masked some real issues still but wins are wins are wins.

This is going to sounds negative but it’s honestly just the reality…

We have Kohl next year and then no other Top 600 kids. We have no RBs and no WRs or TEs of note in the 23 class. Absent Kohl it’s actually our worst class in a long time.

We desperately need portal help at all but QB on offense. Without it, we’re looking at this years offense minus our only go to guy in X.

Unfortunately, NIL is going to make the portal a huge hurdle for us as all our funds will go to trying to keep Tampa and Anderson.

Clear out the offensive coaching staff and hope to bring some hope with new ideas and scrape together a few new guys.

College Football is now Just a Big Money game and those schools with the most money will get the best players!!

The past few seasons I was always confident we would give ourselves a chance. It didnt matter if we were down 2 scores to start the 4th, I was never worried. This year it feels like we'll always give ourselves a chance to lose, and we do. It would be cool to get some hope back.

Campbell is just the next Steve Prohm. Great guys, started really well and had a few great seasons, then showed their true forms. Both just terrible coaches who managed to take us all for a ride. Time for a change.

I’m really starting to believe this is the case, but for some reason believe CMC deserves to be allowed to make the necessary changes….. which for me the bare minimum is firing Myers and Manning and hiring a ST coach….. and bringing in outsiders to replace Myers and Manning…. not just promoting your buddies like Scheelhaase.

Go to the portal for offensive linemen and wide receivers

Those three are absolute at the minimum. I still saw a lot of potential in Dekkers and not sold he is a problem if he has an average line and more than 1 WR target.

You're correct on Prohm but your perception of ISU basketball is out there. He took over a top 20ish basketball program and rode that out for a couple of seasons.

We were a 3 seed I'm Hoibergs last year right? So technically we were the 9th-12th best team in college basketball. We should have been even better the next year with all the talent returning.

Dekkers isn’t the problem, he’s a first year starter where INTs and questionable decision making at times was to be expected. Everything starts with the O Line; if they perform we can run the ball - if we run the ball the defense has to stay honest- if the defense has to stay honest it opens up the passing game and gives him time to make better decisions.
