I was a Junior at Iowa State the year the US did not go back to Standard Time. I had a 7:30 am class and the sun didn’t rise until 8:45 am. That sucked! Also children were at bus stops in the dark! The transition from Daylight Saving Time is not easy but the end result is far better than year-round DST.

My Dad, who was a farmer, did not like DST. He said, “farmers have to work by the sun not by the clock”.

Instead of going out to pee and check the perimeter for stray cats at 2:00 am, the dog wanted out at 1:00 am. When he saw a deer in the back yard and started barking, at least the closest neighbor still had a light on.

No DST problems, of course, but I couldn't pry my kids out of bed with a stick thanks to a 5am sleepover Saturday.

Getting toward the end of my regular work day. Seems darker than usual. Anybody know what's up with that?
What time did you get up? And was that this morning or last night?

I never have any issue with the switch back to standard time, but I'm still firmly in favor of springing forward and then never going back. We only use "standard" time for 1/3 of the year, anyway. How ****ing standard can it be?

According to quantum mechanics linear time does not exist as we currently perceive it. Ok. In “current reality” as we perceive it…daylight saving time SUX

Not exactly sure.
I’m getting up at 6:30 but still pre Sunday so I’m wide awake at 5:30 now. I’m not a morning person.

That time of Year again to set the clocks back tomorrow night.

Bad News: Gets dark early

Good News: We MAY get an extra hour to celebrate the Cyclones Victory over KU!
