Looking like it is going to be a sloppy mess. I am guessing the tailgating lots will be closed. Sucks because we are bringing the kids out for the weekend.

this may be enough for me to sit this one out and chill at home and watch this while watching Tenn/GA.
may have some tix for sale if i choose that route.
where do they have you goingLooks like we might actually get lucky and have it clear up by kickoff, though I can't say I'd blame you too much.
Could be worse, you could have to stand outside for 3+ hours Friday night at a wet, cold high school football game lol.

What the Crap Ed?
We're in a moderate drought conditions still so unless we just get a ton of rain Friday night I don't see the grass lots being closed as we haven't had any significant rain in quite a while around here. I may be wet and possibly a little sloppy in the lower areas that usually are but would surprise me if they completely closed the lots over what is in the forecast right now and the prolonged dry conditions we've had.
Does one to two inches qualify as a ton of rain?

Awesome! Enjoy!Going up to Humboldt - Independence is coming to town for a rematch of last year's quarter.
Would be a biblical flood at this point.
I saw this video over the summer and thought it was super instructive. So if we get a ton of rain, does it just run off since the ground is so dry?
I am more familiar with 30 second events that add up to 2".Think there is a lot that goes in to it. A 24 hour rain event that adds up to 2” isn’t the same as a 3 hour event that adds up to 2”.
