Yep but he has achieved pretty well throughout his career and is a more seasoned head coach. I also stated most want CMC to succeed - I certainly do. You wanted a name and I gave you one that has a career record of 192 - 113 in 26 seasons and only five losing seasons which is pretty good.

He is 62. How many years at Iowa State?

It’s not a talent issue, it’s a coaching and player development issue.
At OL next year i'm excited to see what Hunter Deyo can do at center, Neal the juco at a tackle spot, but there should be recruiters galore going after available OL looking for a new place to play. We need a total reassessment of that in a few weeks for upgrades.

You won’t dictate who Campbell hires. And you admit you don’t know squat. STFU.
Not sure why you’re so incredibly pro CMC. He’s a decent coach overall, pretty good by ISU standards, but the bar is so low there.

You’re calling people out, but they’re just frustrated b/c it seemed like CMC could do the impossible and now it’s becoming obvious he won’t. Lighten up Francis.

Just saying to chill. Let Campbell sort it out. I have been through far worse. Campbell is our future.

He had two weeks to prepare that delicacy for Cyclone Nation - he needs to be gone.
You dont got it right at all. We changed offensive **** after 3 weeks of piss poor play, did way better in a loss, and then ripped it all up during a bye week to play the same stupid **** we did before

Fire Manning
I'm not sure it's manning. I don't know.

Entire offensive staff has to go or you have to get a different scheme that the head coach can get onboard with.

This is headed back to 40k in the stands if this goes on much longer.
Swing the hammer, at least three times (maybe four). What are there, four offensive coaches?

We need a new start offensively. Must do it before it's too late. It might already be.

It's interesting to me (in a bad way) that whenever we seem to do things, offensively, that work, we seldom seem to repeat those things. Many examples in the Texas game.

Whenever we do things, offensively, that don't work, we seem to repeat those.

I don't get it.

I am thinking I sat behind a jack hole at Texas game who repeatedly got upset when fans questioned CMC ability. Wondering if he is same guy in here who thinks Matt is some savior. Kareem Hunt, Mike Warren, David Montgomery and Breece Hall! Those were our saviors. Succeeded in spite of bad OC calls and crap Oline play! QB’s who had skill helped a lot. These guys are not them. Don’t trash them - they just are not capable. Sucks but I am indifferent now! It is what it is!

This. They doubled down on how the coaches want to play instead of looking at what is actually working.

“We’ll just do it better. That will surely make the **** scheme better! We’ve got two weeks to get it right!”
I can't explain it. Your explanation is as good as any.
I’d be willing to give Manning another shot if we had a new experienced OL coach.
No. Clean break needed. Maybe not so clean if Manning agreed to be OL coach. That would be the only way to keep Manning.
It’s becoming apparent any “build” won’t work under Campbell without a generational talent at rb. This staff sucks donkey balls at o-line and qb development.
...playcalling, etc.
Kinda glad Iowa is looking better today. Do not want KF or BF going anywhere.
They'll be saying the same about us if we find a pulse in any of our last four games.

This is right. This is not like Paul's last team that was trotting out Sam Richardson to play QB when the kid had no business playing football anywhere. There are kids that can and have played well on this team.

We look like we don't practice but we do..so what's going on? Angles are poor, spacing isn't right, game changing mental errors, penalties, and the timing is always a step off. We have no identity, and no scheme. There is not one thing that we do well offensively. Campbell says this means we are close, when in reality it means we are just really poorly coached. The timing aspect is the most damning thing, everyone just is a second off.

I have seen certain of our o linemen play great, there are 3 or 4 good linemen there, but they suck right now and get worse every week.

It just boils down to really poor coaching on that side.
