Matt Campbell postgame quote

Campbell starting to feel the pressure. Has been the golden boy for years and instead of looking at his staff he blames the fans?

And this is awfully mild. If he wants to see criticism, we've all been listing plenty of things from this year, last year, and his whole tenure that should get real answers. If he wants to say this is too much, we can get real.

Agreed. Feels like a guy who is getting ready to move on. I think CMC is seeing his stock drop and is ready to get out of town before the posse. The fact that he “allegedly” had a new contract on his desk last year and never signed it should have been telling.
Where’s he going to go? The big boys don’t want him anymore.

My gut is he isn't feeling pressure, he just knows he has to do something. He's a young coach, has had lots of success, has not had tons of adversity, not used to firing people.

It's a learned skill, I had a guy working for me, people told me to fire him for years, and I waited, but I waited too long, and tgey were right. If you think you might need to can someone, then you prob need to do it.
Right, didn't mean pressure on himself. More as in pressure to do something he really doesn't want to, which is demote or fire Manning

Someone will still take a shot at him. There's probably gonna be a few more Big 10 openings, Louisville is going to open too. Maybe he parachutes to Colorado or something. If he decides he wants to leave then he'll leave
but what AD would hire him at this point? He's performed miracles at Iowa State but we have about the least amount of expectations at a major program as you're gonna get....but it's looking like we won't win another game this year

If he wants a new coaching job he'll have one. Nebraska might say no now but if he wants out badly enough I'm sure Colorado or Louisville(when they fire their guy) will take him

IDK, Michigan State hired a 5-7 coach from Colorado and then tossed a massive extension his way. Someone's gonna take a shot if he gives them a call
