Oof, Baylor losing 16-3 at half. Thinking maybe we didn't just lose to the league champs last week...they might be the 5th or 6th best team. League standings are gonna look really weird at the end of this season, it could be a complete flip from what we've seen in recent years with K-State, TCU, Tech, KU rising up and us and OU falling.

Fitting ending for the half. It’s going to be one of those games. We look like a team that is playing without confidence. Both players and coaches. The coaching staff needs to step up and get settled down, then feed that confidence to the players.

We need a new Line coach, and OC. We develop other spots but we are not doing it on the line, and our play calling has not been great for years. Not Brian Ferentz bad, but not good.

Dekkers is who he is. He is not great on his feet......he is no threat in the RPO and really has not shown the ability just to throw it away and not take the sack. That puts more pressure on the O line which is why I think there are so many short routes.

Also like someone said..........the TE's are wide open. We aren't even looking at them. The TD was the example when we do. Need to start using them down the field.

That HB toss in the endzone is a playcall even Manning would call stupid

Yeah, Baylor isn’t looking very good at home, yet they looked unbeatable against us last week. I think we really need to reevaluate our expectations this year.
Probably but at the same time - did they look great? A couple of really bad calls coupled with some turnovers and mental errors and we lost by 7. The fact that they didn't win by more than 7 last week kinda made me think they weren't world beaters. Between the refs and our own mistakes - we still only lost by 7.

So IDK how great Baylor looked last week

We completely abandoned the run, and probably the right decision. But it's ku and we are down 6 and clearly can't run the ball. So why is it that we can't run the ball against what is still a really bad defense. It's time to rethink the o line situation.

We allow the worst defense in the league dictate what we are doing. 1 half of play and they already have 3 sacks.

Don't let the 2 pt conversion cover up another special teams gaff.

This team continues to fail at the small things which is mostly due to coaching.

For a team that preaches that they must win, "in the margins-" too many mistakes.
We're in year 2 of losing regularly in the margins. We had to get everything to go our way to have the success we did from 2017-2020 but now we're seeing the other side of that. Better talent on the roster, more experience which should lead to better schemes, but we're getting the same or worse results.

Not having Brock probably plays into that just a little bit.
