Since when do they review normal penalties?
I think they can review stuff like that at the line of scrimmage. Like a pass where its close on if the QB crossed the line when he scrambles and throws

Need to be some changes in strategy. We’re running the same tired stuff with less talented players and a staff that’s stuck in mud.

Well last time CMC got into it with a QB we ended up with a 3rd string and won at Norman against #3 OU.

So..........next guy in if Dekkers can't take it.

First time I’ve ever seen that reviewed.

Section 3 of the replay rules

Passes
ARTICLE 2. Reviewable plays involving passes include:
a. Pass ruled complete, incomplete or intercepted anywhere in the field of play or an end zone.
b. Forward pass touched by a player (eligible or ineligible) or an official, including whether the
touching is beyond or behind the line of scrimmage.
c. Forward pass or forward handing when a ball carrier is or has been beyond the neutral zone.

Does that mean you can throw a pass to on offensive lineman as long as he catches it behind the line of scrimmage. I’m confused

On the bright side....by letting up on potential sacks and whiffing tackles, we are avoiding targeting penalties.

This is the first time I’m seen them review ineligible man down field
The review was just if the ball was caught behind the line or not (which nullifies the penalty) -- not reviewing the man downfield itself.

I'll be honest, this is a very rare situation and I don't even know what the rule is.

A lot on this board shouldn't pretend they do either.
