You got a TD on review. I think it was the correct call, but could have easily been reviewed as Play Stands.
The block below the waste on the pulling lineman was a miss. I can see why he called it from where he was, but it was a bad call on a conversion down.
I truly don't have a problem with any other call
So, you're good with players one one team being ejected for shoulder contact on an inside run, while the other team doesn't even have helmet contact plays reviewed? Seems reasonable.

Those three flags in the first half (which were drive extenders), all made me want to puke.

The phantom targeting by Freiler, the horrible call on Colby Reeder for unnecessary roughness, and one other one - totally killed us. The rest of the game was just trying to play catch up.
The one you're missing was the "block below the waist" where the CB hit an O lineman in the shoulder.

Explain why targeting against Iowa State and not against Baylor on three different calls. Someone even linked the to plays where Iowa state got called and Baylor didn’t. Go ahead and explain it. I’ll wait

If you truly believe Freyler's targeting call was correct, then you must believe there were AT LEAST two incorrect no-calls on BU's defense. Otherwise, you are just a hypocritical troll.

I think the frustration for me comes with the NCAA. Several people across college football have been calling for a 'tier 1' and 'tier 2' targetting for years, but they continue to put these subjective calls that differ game-to-game on the refs. The fact that Freylers hit carried the same consequence as the one below is a joke.

I didn’t see a replay at the game so this is the first I’ve seen that Reeder penalty. Wow that’s horrible

What’s most frustrating to me is that ISU never gets any calls at home. You might expect some of this crap on the road, but at home there should be a favorable whistle. Every other team gets one

We have been a part of games with controversial call(s) that impact the outcome of the game, but I can’t recall a game where the flow of the game from the opening snap got so screwed up by 3 personal foul calls that were all completely bogus.

17 hit with the top of his head. Its actually more dangerous for him than the ball carrier.
The Baylor kid hit with his face mask.

Not only impacted the flow but I believe the calls were all on 3rd or 4th down so the refs extended drives

That's the problem with calling that targeting call on Freyler on the first drive of the game..... then you HAVE to call anything else like that targeting also the rest of the game to be consistent.

But these refs absolutely did not do that. Baylor had at least 3, possibly 4, worse targeting plays themselves, and none of them were called or even looked at in the booth apparently. That is BS.

Jihrehl Brock got hit straight in the dome today, blatant helmet to helmet. Either review all those plays - or take the targeting rule out. It's insane.

I don't understand why this was called. Is there a rule I don't know about?

You are not using your eyes. You're emotions are getting the best of your judgment

Thanks for the lecture on how to analyze football games. My eyes work fine, and apparently so do the large majority of others here. You do you, however.

C'mon man. I don't necessarily disagree that it was targeting on us but there were at least 2 hits from Baylor that were very similar. And it wasn't even called on the field
