***2026 Minnesota Vikings***

I think that’s how it’s actually pronounced. He’s playing well today
Is PA still going slow to really enunciate? That got strange last year.

For anyone not dumb, I think Kirk has a shot at a very nice year. If the D is truly improved it could be fun. Will depend some on whether the new HC is truly ready. Even just getting out from under Zim sounds like it may help some players, KC included.

I think they go slow so as not to spit it out wrong. PA was more confident in his pronunciation than last year, I thought.

Right on cue dallas dummy.

So I'm dumb for banging on Cousins (which I didn't really even do) and if I give him credit, also dumb...

Just put me on ignore doofus.

Kirk stands to have a lot to gain this year if KOC runs a more pass-heavy offense, which seems so far to be the implication vs. the previous regime.

I’m finding myself significantly more invested/interested in the season this year with Kene on the team and knowing what could in store for him.

Same. I've always wanted to see a Cyclone have an important role for the Vikings. When Sage was signed before Favre (coming off the Tavaris Jackson/Gus Ferrotte experiments), I thought that was going to be the shot, but this seems like the best opportunity yet.

Mannion and Mond obviously both have a great grasp of the Vikings patented prevent offense

What I learned last night:

1) Booth going down would be a big blow to the potential on defense.
2) Backup QB is a dumpster fire
3) Ingram is the RG of the future. Several mistakes tonight were bad, but the upside is there.
4) 49ers are a deeper team than the Vikings

Dumpster fire is putting it lightly. Everyone has all kinds of opinions on Cousins. But I think we all could agree that if Kirk gets hurt, the Vikings are completely and 100% screwed.

Also, yes I’m bias but seriously, if Brock gets cut or put on the waiver wire, I have no idea why the Vikings wouldn’t be one of the first ones on the phone with his agent. At minimum, he atleast looks like he belongs on an NFL field.

Nothing you've seen so far can even tell you this.
I'm just speculating this due to new coach, new systems, offense line still not good, and defense unproven. They can win double digits, but not counting on it.

Right, so nothing new.
They are the Vikings so nobody will be surprised if they win 8 again, but any reason anyone has had for optimism should still be there. Back ups usually suck, maybe ours suck worse, otherwise D has some more talent and O line is still not great. Nothings changed.

I’m starting to realize that if we can’t stay healthy, it’s going to be a long season. Our starters are pretty legit. But we have absolutely no depth other than at running back. If Cousins goes down we are a 5 win team.

I'd rather be a five win team vs. an eight or nine win. At some point the Vikes need to draft a real QB.
