I drove by the pedestrian bridge this morning. The RV folks definitely have a much longer walk than they used to. Some of the RVs are the equivalent of parking north of Hilton

Cant we just post all these pictures of the bridge in the same thread, or in the Jack Trice expansion thread, instead of a new thread every day?

As someone who has frequently contributed to most threads on construction topics, I'm torn on this important issue. On one hand, I like having all the posts in a single thread, but megathreads tend to spin into tangents (worst ones are Hok trolls). On the other hand, I like new threads because they are sure to have actual new content.

If I may offer a compromise proposal to you my dear colleagues, it would be:

1. Allow new threads to be posted whenever someone who really cares wants to make sure we all get timely notification of something new.
2. After 48 hours, these threads should be merged into the megathread so that all relevant content can be retrieved from a single thread.
3. Keep as "unread" any posts in the new threads that we haven't yet opened.
4. If the mods are overworked, make me a mod just for this purpose.

I yield the remainder of my time back to @2speedy1 and I@ST1 for rebuttal.
