Mega Millions - 1 BILLION DOLLARS

I matched two numbers. NIL here we come
I suppose I’m in the minority here, but that number seems too big for me. I honestly don’t think I would want to win it. Especially knowing they expose you. If I could keep maybe $10 million and direct them to give the rest to charity and others, I’d be all in.

I’ve always thought at 100 million and above they should split it in to separate 10 million jackpots for more winners.

Think you can remain anonymous. I heard on the radio the guy that won from South Carolina 4 or so years ago that won over a billion claimed it anonymously

Buying rental properties is the last thing I would do after winning $1 billion. No thanks to that headache. It’s a great business if you’re trying to create wealth, but once you have that billion dollars cha ching on that cash register.
Or just invest in RE as an LP and let the GP do all the work for you.

So how does it work that two tickets may have the same set of numbers? Is it because two tickets are bought at the exact same instant? Does the computer have a stutter problem so it repeats itself? That was just a quirk of years past and now has been corrected?

Not sure if the computer can randomly kick out the same numbers or not but people can pick the same numbers as someone else.
