I have a feeling that this is for the best.
Come on---it isn't. Much like we pretend that Hunter leaving was some great thing, this isn't a good thing for Iowa State basketball. It doesn't mean that the sky is falling. But it is not a good thing for us.
I would "look at" Malachi Smith, but I'm sure ISU isn't close to the short list/radar for that.

The more this dragged on, the worse I felt about ISU's chances. This is such an ISU thing to happen, I should've learned by now we can't have nice things.
Lots of folks'll be wiping egg yolk off their faces tonight. I always wondered how people could be so confident and self-assured on this.
I've learned that when people get that confident it's a let down. We should be used to it as ISU fans LOL I didn't get invested in this. Sucks we didn't get him but we'll be OK. Good luck to him.
