Stars goalie was unbelievable but Flames finally get one through to win the series.

First time since 1991 we have a Battle of Alberta.

officiating master-class in the Battle of Florida tonight.

McDonagh checked a guy and they said the Florida player hadn't caught the puck yet. That's atrocious.

Avs beat Blues in OT. Kind of amazing the game got to OT as Colorado controlled most of the game.

“Control” in hockey is a weird thing, especially compared to basketball or football. In those sports control is reflected by the scoreboard.

But in hockey there are times where controlling a game just doesn’t really mean jack. If the goaltender is able to keep the puck out of the net despite a constant onslaught, and the team is able to take advantage of counters when they come, then one team’s control of a game amounts to nothing. This happened a lot during the TBL-TOR series. TOR controlled much of that series, including games they lost, and still lost the series 4-3.
