Kamari Mcgee left Green Bay to go to Wisconsin. Without doing research, I'd be pretty surprised if he's getting any significant NIL money. Unless Wisconsin has some general fund that pays all their players a certain amount. What I think caused all of this was the fact that Tyrese stayed in Wisconsin after the Sweet 16, working out with a trainer there, and being around all those he knew before Iowa State (friends/past coaches/"handlers"). After having such a successful season at ISU I am sure he was influenced by those "back home" to go test and "max out" the NIL market. (One of his close HS friends did just that, by transferring to Wisconsin from a smaller school).
Evan Miya's portal rankings are based off analytics, but the top end are still pretty accurate compared to opinion based rankings.
Mcgee is ranked 1333 out of 1388.
