It’s entirely possible that he does have a source that told him it’s BS, I don’t know why he would lie about that. Could his source have been wrong? Also possible. But don’t be hypocritical when there’s another certain insider who’s claiming there’s “smoke” but hasn’t mentioned any sources. If anyone loses credibility here it’s that said person who’s just running with information from some random dude on twitter (who has since admitted his original tweet had no backbone)
His story on instagram gave the option for people to respond and ask him questions.
Him saying “let me hear something before I go ghost” means - “let me hear what my fans and followers have to say before I don’t post on hear for a while/log off my social media/don’t respond for a while”
Just reading into it, that’s not the best especially at this time w him not physically being in Ames and these rumors swirling.

The "retraction" was basically not a retraction, he said he didn't realize it wasn't publicly known yet. Obviously I don't know if anything is set in stone but I just don't buy that that guy who named Tyrese and the other College Basketball guy who said something cryptic about big B12 news on the same afternoon are completely baseless.
You're only as credible as your source. He's the only journalist that has made a statement on public forum. He's now tied to that source's information.

No clue if you’re joking but the newest recruiting site On3 (from the guy that made 247 I believe?) actually does assign an NIL value to their players in their rankings. Very surreal to me
In all honesty, and trying to think positive in a miserable situation, it wouldn't be a horrible one for one trade. Obviously, we want BOTH of them, but I don't think Lipsey is that far behind Tyrese on what he brings to the table. Tyrese was not a great shooter. AJ Green is and Tamin looks like he can facilitate the point every bit as well as Tyrese could or at least close and play similar defense.
The fact that this rumor is near 24 hours old and NOBODY (besides a student reporter) has publicly refuted it means he's gone. This won't be the last time either. Expect our incoming FR to get blue blood offers if they earn Big XII FR of the year as well. It's happening. Focus now has to be on paying FR of the year in other leagues like the Valley, Mtn West, etc.
