Let's talk B12 bubbles ...

If ksu is able to sweep ISU it is not an Indictment of isu, we had a terrible half and were clearly slumping when they played in ames. It was likely our worst half of the year and an outlier. It says very little about ISU not being worthy. If that ends up being our worst loss, I'd take that most any year.

KSU did ear it though and that says something when a team is able to upset a much more deserving team on the road.

Saturday might, MIGHT help elevate KSU. But now Isu's resume stands on its own. 9 wins against tournament quality wins with no bad losses.

KSU needs this game way more than ISU and its not even remotely close.

I’m convinced last night punched our ticket. We might need one more to avoid Dayton.

West Virginia was our last chance for a truly bad loss.

If KSU wins its a chance that they start proving that their bad breaks are behind them and that they belong and that the game in ames wasn't a fluke.

But that doesn't mean they prove that ISU doesn't belong.

If Isu wins I think KSU is cooked and in that sense it would show that KSU doesn't belong.

I don't see how a team with 8 quad one wins goes to dayton. Dont think its happening.

He will be gone, and KSU will be far worse for it. Weber is a good coach and deserves a down year here and there. Especially during Covid years.
This would be his third consecutive season of missing the tournament and 5th in the last 8 seasons.

I doubt it too, BUT I've personally been using it as a coping mechanism in that last night's game punched out ticket no matter what, even if we are tossed into the First Four.

That would suggest that K-State wins at Texas and versus TxT were flukes? Please.

K-State is a good basketball team that's had some nightmarish happenstances over the year. Beating ISU would say the Cats are the better head-to-head team but not yet worthy of a tournament bid like the Cyclones, who, I agree, should now be in the field.

The game itself was flukey. Sort of how ISU's win last night was. Choking / crumbling/ etc.

That was a great game last night against the last-placed 'eers in your gym with an incredible performance by your star pulling it out in the end. ISU will have lots of mojo coming down to Manhattan.
Jesus Christ tone down the saltiness lol

You ok?

Maybe a little clearer on the sarcasm. Don't you think? Basically inferring it took our best effort against the last place team. Not a good look on our site.
I thought ISU made a great effort to pull that one out in the end, yes. I also thought it was a win necessary to secure an NCAA bid, also yes.

You thought we had to win that game? I think it’s possible that losing that game would mean we might need two more. But it was not a win or go home game.
