Where does Brockington rank in the ISU transfer standings right now?

Too early to tell, Royce was other worldly talented and Kane was at his best in March. IB isn't in that category yet but if he puts together a nice March, he's in the convo.
Well except for that UConn game. Like to flush that one away.

Agree with others here that Royce was the most talented. Hard to compare Kane and IB because team composition and talent level very different. Probably some recency bias on my part, but may give IB the nod if you’re taking most valuable to the team. Suppose it depends how you measure “best”.

Even tho the OP forgets JC Transfers, doesn't negate their existence.

Elite tier:
Jamaal Tinsley and Kelvin Cato this is a tier for All Time transfers, can Brock get here? Maybe his story is still being written.

From there I don't know how you classify tiers but for me:

Dedric Willoughby, Royce White, Izaiah Brockington, Kane, Shayok

Then
Vroman, Pratt, Bankhead, Mike Taylor, Kantrail Horton, Dustin Hogue, Chris Babb, Will Clyburn, Burton, Nader, et all (should clarify, the et all here doesn't mean all other transfers go here or added to this tier. This tier is the really good starter, impact player tier, names that jump out that you remember, there would be tiers below this)

Probably gonna get hate, but come at me

I am almost always inclined to favor the incumbent, or at least I'm very conscious of recency bias. That being said, I think it's a valid argument. Izb has had at least as much impact as Royce for one season. Neither of those teams are going anywhere without them, they were both the clear alpha on otherwise average or below average teams.
Royce had national recognition, and it felt like the discussion surrounding transfers really changed in large part because of what he did here. I'm not sure Royce had much lasting impact here outside of jumpstarting Hoiball. To me Ejim and Georges are really the standard bearers of that era though. I think there's a good chance that a few years down the road Brockington may be best remembered for setting the culture here. He could be TJ's Ejim. If that comes to fruition I think he's got to be number 1.

Most talented? Royce
Best scorer? Shayok
Most valuable? Brockington

Kane was probably my favorite player out of all of them. But that team had a ton of talent, so it's tough to judge him fairly.

Most talented: Tinsley
Best Scorer: if you think Shayok over Willoughby or Brock I can't help you
And Tinsley and Cato are clearly 1 A and 1 B all time most valuable their teams have no chance of being as good without them.

It took Jared Homan 4 years to barely pass Cato's two year block total. Any team can use 100+ blocks per year

I'm on the younger end on this board and was using the transfers listed in the OP.

Blind scoring test using senior years

Player A: 17.3 PPG, 47.5 FG%, 0.9/2.2 3 pointers per game. 80% FT
Player B: 18.7 PPG, 49.6 FG%, 2.1/5.4 3 pointers per game. 88% FT
Player C: 18.9 PPG, 43.3 FG% 3.8/8.3 3 pointers per game. 82% FT

Tinsley was a transfer?

A scorer has the ability to get a bucket whenever right?

Now consider the following in your calculus.

Willoughby played on team that scored how many points per game under Floyd? And Jacy Holloway, Shawn Bankhead, Kenny Pratt and Cato weren't scorers.

Brockington also plays on a team that scores how much? And who else is a scorer?

Shayok played on a team with Wigginton, THT and Haliburton. Shayok wouldn't be able to get a bucket in crunch time as easily or at all on those other teams. Now you tell me.

Royce and Kane were dominant physically but neither one of them had a go to move as good as Brockington’s midrange step back, and is the best defender of the 3.

But he has to do it in the tourney. Kane hit a game winner to go to the sweet 16 and Royce was dunking on NBA centers. Do something like that and I could see him being #1 on that list.
