They know what they had, they are just cheap, but they have to be. There isn't a billionaire with deep pockets behind their decisions.
I know, that's why they have to tighten their belt on other things. They can only sell stock and charge franchise fees to season ticket holders so often. The skyboxes, stadium tours, and hall of fame are open 363 days a year to generate revenue, but like I said, it is a publicly owned entity, there isn't a billionaire throwing money around.
Then you have Mike McCarthy who couldn’t even put up a winning record with Rodgers.

They ****** up with Rodgers and he rightfully called them out on it. Jordan Love and Dillion when you’re in a SB window is the front office thinking they’re safe
So they gotta trade Love right? Do whatever it takes to keep Rodgers and then trade Love this offseason. Love is better than any college level QB coming out in the draft so I would think the Packers could get a first round pick for Love.

Dillon is a huge part of our offense, so no, that wasn’t a screw up.
The worst record in the playoffs this year will be 9-8. 7-9 or 8-8 teams in the playoffs in the past were very rare. My main gripe is why did they push the season later? Should start on Labor Day weekend.
They got rid of the 2 week window between conference championship weekend and the Super Bowl. It's only a week now so they didn't have to start earlier. The whole thing is just dumb and just a money grab without any regards for players health.
The conference championship is January 30th and the super bowl is February 13th.
They didn’t care about player health when they made Thursday night football a thing and made teams play games 4 days after just playing the previous Sunday. That was worse imo. I don’t have an issue with one extra regular season game and 1 less preseason one.
Weren't you just saying last week that college players shouldn't opt out of bowl games to ... protect their health?
I used to think Thursday Night Football was a big part of injuries as there always seemed like there were more in those games, but I saw a study showing that wasn't the case:

We knew we couldn’t keep both Williams and Jones. So we grabbed Dillion (who also is a power back that we needed) and could drop Williams to save cash. I think Z Smith is in his last year in GB. Maybe Amos also. GB has 37MM to fix and those two would clean about half that.
