Mike Tomlin dealt with AB pretty well and even he had enough of that guy! Arians should never have brought him back from the Covid scam. AB needs some serious counseling...
Bruce Arians looks like a damn fool. "He screws up one time, he's gone." Yep, sure buddy. Way to stick to your word.
The Steelers front office looks brilliant dumping him before things really got out of control.
Guys like that have to want get better to get better. Not really seeing a “want to” from AB.
And it seems like he's had about as good of a support system from head coaches like Tomlin and Arians as he was going to get.
Sad deal but the best help is self help.
Self-help isn't going to do anything - AB is the kind of guy that thinks he's not the problem; everyone else is. He needs professional mental help, but he's not going to seek it himself because, as I said, he doesn't see himself as having the problem, and he's likely not far enough gone where he can be forced to get it legally.
What I'm getting at is it's really hard to help someone unless they themselves dig in and are willing to help themselves. Easier said than done but for true restoration it has to at least be a partnership.
