NFL: ***2022 NFL Season Thread***

Heineke isn't fit to lead a USFL franchise, it looks like he's gotten worse as the season has went along. They need to draft a franchise QB or hit the free agent market hard.

Astounding Lazard went undrafted

I remember counting approx 32 other WR's getting drafted that offseason instead

Just proves most draftniks, pundits, 'experts', scouts (many never played college/pro football), don't know what they're doing half the time
Love Lazard. But he’s WR3 on a team with the best NFL QB. Hope he can do the same w/o Rodgers.

Not that it changes your point much, but I'd argue he's pretty darn close to WR2. Him, Cobb, and MVS all have an argument for it

The ESPN and Fox "Fake Noise" makes watching the NFL unbearable. Miami just ran a pick 6 @ New Orleans, and they had the noise buzzing like it was in Miami.

I want to watch this game, and they just need to let the crowd noise be natural instead of so blatantly fake.

I just wish it would drown out that god awful constant siren the Bears use though. But I agree enough of the “fake” crowd noise.

They pipe in crowd noise even when there's a crowd?

I know it might be done for the away team...but isn't it more interesting when the away team quiets the host crowd?

I haven't watched all the game but opposing fans travel very well in the NFL. Used to have season tix with the chiefs and always surprised how many fans showed up. If the home team is doing poorly, like tonight, those fans can be easily heard in places that are naturally loud like the Superdome.

That's true, but the ESPN and Fox NFL noise is canned and annoying.

I saw the interception clip on Instagram and couldn't tell if it was piped in or not. Probably plenty of Dolphins fans that went to New Orleans and would be loud in a dome like you said. Eagles fans have been incredibly loud in Las Vegas and Minneapolis.

Last year there was piped in noise because there weren't fans, but it wasn't ESPN or Fox doing it. The local stadium PA controlled the crowd noise.

But regardless, they scrapped it after fans were back in attendance. I doubt there was any piped in noise, but if there was, it wouldn't have been ESPN adding it.
