I’m looking for suggestions on good sandwhiches in greater Des Moines. I’m talking deli style sandwhiches but more oomph than like a jimmy johns. What you got for me fanatic?

Manhattan Deli is one of my favorite sandwich shops on the planet.
B&B at 6th and Hartford slams too.

I found B&B first, but I became a Manhattan fanboy when I worked on Grand for a couple of years. I love both, but probably lean Manhattan. B&B is still freaking awesome and more of an "experience" for sure.
If B&B is busy I go to Grazianos. They make subs now.
Good to know. I don't get to Des Moines as much as I'd like these days, but we usually stop at Graziano's just to bring some sausage home.
Go to B & B Grocery. They might take you in the back and do a shot with you.
This is the correct answer for Des Moines. The Tuesday Special (can get any day) is my favorite at Manhattan and Dad’s Killer Sandwich at B&B.
Nope, lol. Couldn’t sleep and was watching tiktoks. Saw some of this classic New York deli videos making the sandwiches/subs wrapped in paper and foil and got to thinking about what’s here. Been to Manhattan, it’s good. Everyone says try B&B so still need to try that. Wondering if there are others to try!
