that island napoleon got sent to
Everyone running their mouths about 7-5 season should just keep their filthy mouths shut. CMC and his staff needs to be appreciated for saving a lot of ungrateful souls there in Ames from depression. Snowing outside, after a 2-10 season only to watch the useless Hawkeyes going to Tampa or California for a bowl game. Is that what you want? Because if CMC wasn’t there then I don’t know who would come and make ISU legit again. Let’s not forget where we are coming from. At least I live in Houston, I can go to strip clubs and get boobs in my face, go to really good restaurants and have some very good food, yes Houston has very good food in the whole of America. So
If CMC isn’t there then chances are you will be shoveling snow instead of going to a bowl game, so let’s not throw stones while living in a glass house. I do not want to keep reading nonsense about the 7-5 record. Learn to be grateful. Paul Rhoads was just dancing on the sidelines and giving you excuses and 3-9 every year, let’s not forget that. Hands off my Coach, he’s the best and he knows what he’s doing. We will be fine. Infact we are just fine. Now let me go make a donation to the athletic department. You should too instead of whining about a 7-5 as if you could do a better job yourself coaching this team, ridiculous!

you need to lay off the booze

Rattler and Stoger played under Shane Beamer when he coached at OU, isn’t that correct? Makes sense why you would go there instead of OSU or a school who uses tight ends well

Could give them to walk-ons.

But there is a growing push by college football coaches to allow an exception above 25 scholarships for kids entering the transfer portal. Not sure if the coaches are proposing a 1 for 1 exception or a slightly bigger cap- aka 30.

If the transfer portal seemed crazy with college basketball, think what it will be like in football where there are 85 scholarship players.

Wouldn’t the seven player waiver apply to us?

So Aric Horne after some NIL $$.... that won't exist? LOL

The NCAA needs to re-institute the sit-out year for transfers (unless it's a grad-transfer)

This would put the brakes on this nonsense

We keep recruiting small, thin, skinny-boned d-backs and safeties..
They have been burned and out-muscled on one & one's, fades, jump-balls constantly

geezus.... How does Iowa get Geno Stone, Josh Jackson, Amari King, and other NFL-ready d-backs?

For this year, the NCAA is allowing 32 for the year. There is also something for the in season transfers, but I'm not exactly sure how that works.

There’s no way the NCAA is going to go backwards and reinstitute an arbitrary sit-out rule for football and basketball which never applied to other sports.

Those guys were low 3 stars hovering around 0.8000. Iowa developed them.

What is going on? We have had a lot lately! Is this just the world of college football today? Or is there something more within Iowa state that we should be worried about?
Why the heck is Young in the transfer portal?

Not trying to troll, or start rumors, but Any chance there is an unannounced coaching change coming? On the defensive side? Its not uncommon to announce coaching changes until after signing day. I hope not, but just looking for possible reasons for departures.

I know that is common but very unlikely the current players know this and then keep it a secret. Way too many leaks would occur...

The 1 time transfer without sitting out is more damaging to the game than the NIL rule is! Good for the kids...but the game overall is different due to that rule moreso than the NIL is!

The big test of this coaching staff was how they would handle the off-season. So far not good.

That’s easy to say now but we need instant impact guys next year since we lose a lot. Linebacker is thin on experience and so is receiver. Just be patient. Campbell has proven to be a good judge of talent and what he needs to win games.
