***CFB Conference Championship Games Thread***

Let 'em in. I think they'll get rolled in the CFP but who knows. If they do, it'll be a big STFU to the UCFs/Cincys/Houstons in the future.

Agree.... and if they embarrass themselves.... then don't expect a G5 team to make it ever again as long as it's at 4 teams.

The CBS crew pondering when the whistle blew for the false start on the Georgia bad snap/fumble … um, guys, on a false start it doesn’t matter when the whistle blows, there is no play and the penalty must be enforced. You can’t lose possession if a false start is called.

Completely agree. It would make sense for it to end with Georgia, Alabama, Michigan, and Cincinnati in there (however the numbers shake out I won't say or care). Notre Dame should in no circumstance make it. Especially if they drop Cincinnati if they somehow lose to Houston (which it looks like they won't).

ND has no wins against a top 25 team.... but then again neither does Iowa... but Iowa isn't being talked about for making the CFP.

Does this game dismantle the story of how amazing Georgia is this year? At what juncture does the sec spin up by ESPN get dialed back?

Did that Alabama D lineman not line up offsides on the 4th and 1?

Interesting. Why do you think that?

I was really looking forward to Alabama not being in the playoffs. Fricking Auburn and then this....Probably going to be the title game in a few weeks...puke.
This almost feels scripted. Georgia loses which lets Alabama in. This gives two sec teams in, and Georgia and Alabama is the hope for the championship. Never felt like there was a script until this year. Almost feels like wwe.

I like having the best teams in the playoffs. And Bama looks like one of the best teams right now

If you just are putting in the 4 best teams... I think the 4 best teams I've seen play this year are probably (in no specific order)..... Georgia, Alabama, Michigan, and probably tOSU or maybe even Baylor?

Iowa will win because of Harbaugh’s hubris. Purely with turnovers and special teams as usual.

1. Bama
2. Georgia
3. Cincy
4. Notre Dame
Barta will probably push to advance Ohio State or Iowa. Committee doesn't like ND without the regular season coach. Besides, it is not an official playoff without a B1G team, right? Just kidding, I hope. 1638660865530.png
