Somebody should dig up old basketball threads and show the CF wisdom of people saying Georges had no shot at the NBA. Purdy may not get drafted but I'll be surprised if he isn't in somebody's camp next year. If he has the mental side and work ethic needed to be an NFL quarterback I think he will stick around for a while but I don't' know that anybody on here can provide knowledgeable opinions on that.

The one thing that could help or hold him back is that he's essentially only ever ran an offense based around the RPO. It's one of the biggest reasons he played early here. That could pigeon hole him or that expertise could be seen as an asset in a qb room.
If he gets drafted it’ll be 6-7th round. NFL gets a big hard on for measurables like size, arm strength, speed. Even if he doesnt get drafted he’ll end up somewhere. Has a solid shot at being a game manager back up somewhere. He’s the best QB in ISU history, even better than Seneca IMO, but the NFL is a different level.
Rose, Breece, Enyi, Mcdonald and Kolar all seem like sure things to get drafted though. Isheem if he leaves as well.

Happy feet, likes to flush early. Just his game. Pros want you to stand in there and deliver a frozen rope, unless you're Mahomes you aren't getting away with flushing the pocket early. It's hard when you're not 6'5''.
People keep comparing him to NFL starters. No one's arguing he's a starter (well, almost no one).
But there are 30-40 guys on NFL rosters who look almost identical to Brock and are essential to an NFL team making it through a season. They don't have to be monster specimens, just smart and accurate and able to keep things running when QB1 is not available. And Brock will be cheaper than most of them. He'll make somebody's roster.

As a bears fan, who has seen more terrible QBs and line play in my 35 years than I care to think about, he seems to have an uncanny ability to feel the pressure and get out when needed, but he's very good about going through his progression when he has time. I get the critiques about his arm and size, but pocket presence(!!!), I would say is a strength of his.
Protection is a big part of it, but he has missed several wide open receivers this year that were TD. Even the color guy has made comments about it more than one game, Meyer has brought it up as well. I will agree he has improved this year.
Imo, he has a tendency to fall back and start running where he could actually step up and use the positioning of his linemen to give him more time to throw with his feet set. If we're talking playing in the NFL you have to have that ability.
