My sources said after the scrimmage.......the Northwestern fan stormed the court.

One concern: I heard that we only allow one guy to shoot at a time on the offensive end. That's going to make us very predictable and easy to defend.
I'm simply asking what the poster stating that the scrimmage went differently has to say... there seems to be some disagreement from the above members and I was literally just asking what they have heard. Again, this is a discussion board I am aware one may not want to share the exact quotes they read on the premium board but I don't see an issue with individuals giving some reasoning as to why they post what they post....
My friend/source who knows a little bit of everything regarding basketball said we won the real half we played. Gabe looked good.
This is what I heard also and that ISU actually won the scrimmage portion, but lost the situation portion. Don't ask me how you can lose practicing situational basketball, but that's what I heard. Also heard we lost by 15 to South Dakota State last week.
I didn’t hear any exact numbers, but this is about what I heard too. You can’t take too much stock in scrimmage scores, but sounds like the team is at least functional. That’s an improvement from last year…
It’s just weird we are in November and know so little about the basketball team. Do you have to be on premium board to know anything about projected starters? Heck I may have to try out the new Cyclones.com to even know who is on the team. There’s some guy who was here before and left to follow TJ around. There’s some guy who transferred from Minnesota. That is all I remember. Was thinking this would be a good weekend to do a Hilton Madness maybe but have heard nothing about that. I guess the best I can hope for is that somehow we are decent and are in stealth mode. We aren’t setting low expectations, we are setting no expectations.

Kunz is my only question mark, just because he was injured early on, but it's got to be him, right? The only other option at the 4, now, is Enaruna, but haven't people been saying he's still got a ways to go? Will need a lot from Enaruna and Kunz.
Obviously, we'll see a lot of Jones, as the only backup big, but, I'm sure we'll go small, sometimes, with Kunz or Enaruna at the 5. I think Grill will get a good amount of playing time.
Hopefully Walker had a good off season and has progressed with the new staff. A lot of people probably forget he stayed.
This team reminds me more of 2017-2018 than the last 2 seasons. They had some really good wins that season, and a couple bad losses, but were really putting a good product on the floor, until the injuries caught up to them toward the end of the season.

Wondering if Cap City will ever return? It was something I really enjoyed and helped with getting to know the team Also I hope TJ gets back with Hilton Madness if not this season maybe next year hopefully!
Interestingly, I wonder where ALL school's fans compare. 'Expectations' is an interesting psychological entity. Too much and you're a glass half full person, but likely set up for a let down. Too little and you're viewed as a glass half empty type of person that may walk away with a smile. So, are 'Iowa State' fans any different than any where else? I suspect not.
If this team can manage .500 that will be a win.
