Gerry Vaughn?Who backs up Rose? I have no doubt that we have quality depth, even if no one can fill his shoes completely.
Is it torn away from where it connects........or within itself. One he is probably done for at least 4 weeks. The other could play next week, but be better in 2.
A tear and a sprain or strain are one in the same until you rip the muscle off the bone.
Gerry Vaughn?
I love him, and this is trueLove him or hate him, Twins is right on stuff like this almost always.
please stop. None of those are the same
That's a tough injury. He'd be better off taking the season off to rehab it.Tear
I am just going off what Drs and physical therapists have told me.
Ok, I don’t mean/intend anything demeaning or negative. We are all Cyclones here.
However here is some more information that I based my comment on.
Tendon connects muscle to bone and has elasticity properties. Meaning it can stretch and repair.
Ligament connects bone to bone. Has zero elasticity properties. If a ligament is stretched, it will not return to native/original state (essentially native length).
Sprain equates to ligaments. To provide an example, if anyone has sprained their ankle, they are more likely to sprain their ankle again due to the joint being “more loose” as a result of the ligaments never returning to native state.
A strain equates to a muscle and or a tendon. For example a hamstring strain; a person returns from such an injury.
This is what I meant by my original post and I hope this clarifies that.
Go State!
Essentially a “Pulled Hamstring” is a muscle strain. Also a person can’t rehab a a torn ACL b/c it has to be reconstructed.
I heard it from two separate people FWIWLove him or hate him, Twins is right on stuff like this almost always.
He had it going into today and still led the team in tackles
When the distal bicep tendon tears........it's still considered a "bicep tear" even though it is a tendon.

Gerry Vaughn?
Vaughn’s a baller. But no one is Mike mf’ing rose.Depth chart shows Aric Horne, but Vaughn might get the call there too.
Agreed.Vaughn’s a baller. But no one is Mike mf’ing rose.
So does he keep playing? Can’t tell if it got worse today or pain threshold like previously stated.I heard it from two separate people FWIW
