Great Experience At K-State

Every real life K-State fan I've met are good, solid people. Very much like ISU, and Okie St as far as that's concerned.

Of course there's some online jackasses, but we have those too . . .

Ive had great experiences with K-State fans in KC at the Big 12 tournaments. Infact, WV fans too, who in turn was impressed by ISU fans. Lets just say, none had much good to say about Kansas fans.

I've made the trip to Manhattan 3x and had nothing but great experiences. I'm thinking about going to Norman. I've never been to a game there and would be taking my elementary age kids with me. What is that experience like?
I've only gone to a game in Norman once. It was two years before ISU's breakthrough game down there. It was civil but things may have changed now that ISU is a threat.

I've worked with a lot of K-State grads and generally get along pretty well with them. We tend to have very similar outlooks (although I think we make better engineers than they do).

My wife and son (10th grade at the time) went to the 2019 OU game and had a great time. We were treated fine by OU fans....we were sitting amongst a larger group of ISU fans and were only heckled by kids sitting by us which is not a big deal. I think most OU fans were thrilled they escaped with a1 point win that night.

Had a great time in Manhattan as well and will definitely go back. The K-State fans that I encountered were great. Every fan base has their a-holes, including ours. However, I feel K-State has good fans overall.

KSU fans were great to our group. Chatting us up, good sports, no bad will whatsoever. I've been told to fear KU fans more than KSU fans any day (which makes sense for b-ball, but can KU football fans really be that bad?).

I’ve never had an issue with a kstate fan except for online rubbing going too far. When I visited Manhattan it was like cousins visiting each other that didn’t know they were related.

The only reason to be mad at KState is sports results and in the grand scheme of things that doesn’t really matter

I hope it helped you fall asleep after.

My guess is that the/an OU trip would be a good one, even now. I'd bet most fans there are a little mixed about leaving the Big 12 and joining sec.

My dislike for OU is pretty strong right now. They could have stayed and been 'the' flagship for a future Big 12. Instead they decided to bail and go with te$us to sec. My dislike for te$us is far greater, bordering on hatred.

If would think many OU fans might feel a little sorry to leave, might even be apologetic to visiting teams' fans? They will rapidly forget about the old Big8/12 in sec when all the $$$ rolls in however. Texas fans, who knows? They are a more entitled lot, probably.
