Iowa might need to lose twice to miss playoffs

You guys understand Alabama losing doesn’t effect the playoffs at all, right? They’re still a lock. As is Georgia. Every other team is competing for two spots. And I could argue Ohio State is probably a safe bet for number 3, so everyone else is competing for one spot.

This is a different kind of loss. They're going to drop several spots at least.

Bama is going to lose on a last minute FG

Iowa #2 in the country now

Nah. Bama will drop no worse than 5. Cinci is basically a lock. Then there are Michigan, Mich St, Ohio State and Oklahoma. Iowa still has to play Purdue.................and N'Western.........and Sconsin.......... They will lose one of those.

Even if Iowa gets in the playoff, it would be fun to watch another Stanford type game.

Everyone with any kind of power will ensure Alabama gets into the playoffs.

It took all of 2 minutes for the CBS studio crew to start pumping Bama up again, talking about if they win out, how they still have the division tiebreaker, and blah blah blah.

Good gawd no. Iowa’s going to be number 2 in the rankings tomorrow. Their fans are going to be insufferable this week.

Does Cincinnati move into the top 4 with Bama and Penn State losing or do they get jumped? It’ll be interesting. I bet they stay at #5 or even fall to #6.

My guess is 1. Georgia, 2. Iowa, 3. Oklahoma, 4. Ohio State, 5. Alabama, 6. Cincinnati, 7. Michigan, 8. Oregon, 9. Michigan State, 10. Penn State.

Texas is going to barely hold on to a top 25 spot or fall out completely, which is almost criminal. That’s a top 15 team, no question.
