Which is crazy because it doesn’t feel like that long ago (although it was like, 20 years, I guess) they were considered the top offensive line school in the country.

They got away from some of the very fundamental philosophies that contributed to their long term success. Scholarship limits and roster reductions didn’t help either.
 
Bielema is going to do well at Illinois. It’s a perfect setup for him.

Watching the Nebraska message boards is going to be glorious all year long.

I haven't forgiven Bielema for being a chicken ****, but Illinois looks like a fundamentally sound team. Everyone played within themselves, did their jobs and didn't turn the ball over.

If Martinez could only hit an open receiver. On the drive they settled for a fg he had a guy wide open for a TD. Right before the fumble for a TD he had a guy wide open for a play that would of gotten about 40 yards.
