Was wearing my Hawaii jersey because it’s the first game of the year for them this year and ran into a Fresno fan at the grocery store and had a surprisingly detailed 15 minute conversation about the Mountain West. Not something I was particularly expecting living in Virginia.

Gameday giving Milton and McDonald as 'guys to watch' love.

Rece, of course, in his Debbie Downer role saying they have to beat Iowa though. "Then we can talk".
Rece trying to control the narrative on when you can talk about the Cyclones, again.
Not that it’s even close to one of the most important games, but I believe iowa is the only team Campbell has played more than once as a Cyclone that he has yet to beat. Would be nice to get that last monkey, albeit a small one, off the back this season.

Don't think Illinois was going to win regardless but with Peters out I think this baby is over.

Also Illinois OL can't block Nebraska's front 7

I'm in the camp of thinking 'bad offense' is overplayed with the B1G because I'm a believer that D1 players are D1 players and it's all fairly relative but this is a poor advertisement to discredit that notion, and it's definitely not because of the defense.

That said I'd also imagine true game conditioning would be a factor in this type of heat.
