The Iowa guy thread got me thinking about vices. Substance not other.. First off, your preference. I'm sure liking gummies after decades of not using it. So many alternatives available. Not hung over in morning. Always calming vs what booze brings. No calories.

Alcohol for me. In moderation.

Back in the day, weed always made me think too slow if that makes sense. Couldn't carry on a conversation about anything that required intellect.

Fallen for the Devil's Herb, huh? Next stop....the hard stuff. Gateway drug and whatnot

I chose alcohol just because of the legal status. I truly think society’s view of the two should be switched. Even so, I probably only have a drink or two a couple times per year.

Please add “Hookers and Blow” to the survey choices. Thank you.

Asking for a friend on the logistics of that. Do you request that the hookers bring the blow, or is it expected that you have already lined that up before picking up the hookers?

Don’t drive on weed or alcohol. Doesn’t matter where you live or are currently located

This thread isn't about using and driving.

I think it may shock a lot of people when they realize the amount of people out there using weed while driving. Hell, I have several friends that use those weed carts almost all day long. They seem functional at their jobs, life...etc. Not saying that is a good thing, but it is happening.

Oh and make no doubt, I am 100% in the legalize it camp.

definitely shouldn't drive on anything. With that said, I watched a driving test on tv. They had a sober guy, a frequent weed user, an occasional weed user, and a drunk guy. The frequent weed user (he was high for the test) did the best, followed by the sober guy, then the occasional weed user, and the drunk guy did the worst. They theorized the frequent user was the most focused, they were used to being high, kind of like a normal state, so they get good at focusing on the task at hand and have better attention than the sober guy. The occasional weed user drove a lot slower and cautious and that cost him points. Of course the drunk guys driving test was a disaster.
