Tickets for UNLV game

This is college sports, it's all about $$. They 100% will not turn away any ticket sales. I am not sure why everyone is worried. They will open up sections of the top if they can sell the tickets.
I’m interested if they end up selling 300 level between the 30s. And at what price.

So should I be panic buying for three or no?
There’s good season tickets last i saw that were in 3s for $255 each right next to the club sections. Gotta figure the other game tickets sell and get some $ back. Or just wait for the UNLV single game release date. Not panic time yet at all.

I think they would open up the 220-231 sections first. I want to know what their "plan 2" is since the "plan 1" group tickets sold out.

If ISU fans are buying season tickets why the hell would they open up more seats any time soon? See how many season tickets you can sell.

I don't know why. Most who are going have already purchased a plane ticket. They've kind of got ISU fans over a barrel.

I am not coming from Des Moines (or any of the other airports ringing it, Omaha/KC/MSP/etc.) so I have that advantage. I have not bought anything for me and my wife quite yet.

But being unsure about the UNLV game ticket situation is certainly unsettling.

I'll watch the game from a sportsbook if I have to pay more than $150/ticket

To me, with what I'm spending to go to Vegas in flight and hotel, I'm not going to let the game ticket price stop me from attending. If I have $500 a person wrapped up in the other stuff, I'm not going to balk at paying $200 for a game ticket vs $100. I don't enjoy the thought of UNLV gouging us, but there's no way I'm watching this game at a sports book.

The whole single game thru UNLV not opening until August is a bummer. I got stuck in a meeting at work and didn't log in right at 10am today, missing my opportunity. I'm still planning to go to every game, and at this point, this is the only one I'm worried about getting tickets for.

If anyone is searching for an affordable flight, Kansas City has some decent prices and flight times. Southwest is also having a 50% off airfare sale through 06/17/2021 (promo code: SAVE50). I was able to get a direct flight out of MCI (Kansas City) for around $270 round trip. I'd say my all in cost with tickets for 3 of us, hotel and flights was around $1K. Flight times out of MSP are not great after the game (9/19/2021). If you can stay till Monday, that opens things up significantly.

One final thing. I've found the best days to get the cheapest flights have been Tuesday/Wednesday. Flight prices swell by $70-$100 Friday/Saturday/Sunday per ticket and wain Tuesday/Wednesday. Could save you a few hundred dollars, so I figured I would throw that out there.

When I spoke to the group ticket sells department last week she said that if there is enough demand, they will open up 3 more sections on the opposite side of the stadium for group sales, sections 225 to 227 I believe she said, sometime in July. They have a list currently of people wanting group tickets, you must purchase at least 20.

I got a flight out of MSP, 4 days 3 nights hotel... $500 total

Looks like they are determined to give us the crappiest seats they can.

If there are good seats available why don't they put them up for sale. Seems like that would help ticket sales. Unless they're holding out and then put out the good seats later. Try to sell the crappy ones first.
