When you lose most of your team to transfer and add a couple low major players to replace them I don't think that is good.

I disagree. 3 of the guys in that tweet are non-contributors and Carr will likely go pro. As for transfers he's brought in, Battle is a starter level player from the A10. It's likely they keep Kalscheur and also sounds like they're the favorite for Race who is a proven P5 starter. Tbd on how the two low major guys translate I suppose.

Definitely a tough loss on Liam though. He's a solid player.

Let me know when ISU starts developing talent.
Ask Monte Morris that just signed a $27+ million dollar contract in the nba. Oh Georges Niang, Matt Thomas, Burton, Naz all cashing in and all developed at Iowa State, I’m sure you guys at Iowa do such a good job of developing your players to play in Cambodia, don’t you?

I think a Drake's Yesefu to KU, Davidson kid to Kentucky, etc., a South Dakota kid for heavens sake only looking at a few high rated majors now..... just intensifies the trend that getting good transfers this day and age is much more difficult than when Fred began at ISU. I remember someone visiting with a coach on the Cyclone tour a few years ago, saying how frustrated or surprising it was as to the difficulty just to be able to fill out a roster. I bet even TJ, even with his desired staff, will find it more difficult than what he felt when he was a main recruiter. This is certainly not a 'stick up for Prohm' thing at all, hardly, but we may not be any happier at the end of this transfer season than we have been the past few. TJ has even a tougher sell coming off the last few conference finishes here.

I am very curious to see how this plays out. Yes he was very good. But he's not gonna get 20 shots a game at KU shooting 33%
He didn’t shoot 33% from the field this season. He shot 38% from 3 and 44% overall. He is also a good defender and a really good athlete. I don’t think he is a starter or anything his first year but I can see him being great as a Senior. I mean he was hitting shots over much bigger USC guys. I would love to have him.

It was an estimate/guess. Apologies

In the last 4 games where he made his money you could say. He was 8/22, 8/21, 4/15, 8/23. (so 34.5% I guess in that stretch). I stand by my point of him not getting that volume and % at KU. Now that doesn't mean he will be bad or anything. I am just interested in seeing in pan out.

Oh of course he won’t get that volume. Part of the reason he had to be so aggressive though is because they lost Hemphill and Penn.
