After a few more phone calls, my wife was able to get her second covid shot scheduled for Thursday. Not sure what happened but we were concerned she wouldn't get the 2nd shot in the proper window.

My wife is currently breastfeeding our two month old and they are saying that the antibodies from the Covid vaccine are getting passed on to the baby, which is a plus.

Good you got it set up! All indications are the 'window' can be quite large just as long as it's completed.

I'm knowing more and more people that are getting in so happy about that.

I got my first shot last week and my wife will get hers tomorrow. Our 2nd shots are already scheduled and they will only be a day apart.

Anybody know what the window is for the follow up shingles vaccine? I got my first one right before COVID hit and I still haven't gotten the second...

Had my first shot yesterday. Headache, tired and a little nauseous last night but thus far today just a sore arm.
Our daughter told us last night that she got scheduled for her first shot (she's 42, works in admin at Grandview). I asked if her hubby was able to get in as well...
"He's still on the fence".

I knew he was a Trumper. Didn't think he was THAT bad, though. :(

So, if you can’t get a Covid shot............

Not really. The clinic was closed to anything but emergency visits - no well visits were being scheduled - during that entire window.
Maybe so. But I wonder if you'll have to start the process all over again. And I'm really surprised that they wouldn't have run you in & out of there if it was a "return" visit, especially for something that has a window.

You couldn't even get an appointment during the height of it. There were a lot of appointments that got cancelled during that time.

Meh, it is a two shot series. Not a big deal if I have to start over.

DH had his first early on in 2020, second one scheduled in May, I think, and he got it on schedule. In and out because that's all he needed. Reaction to that second one for him was achy, painful and lots of red, warm area in upper arm.

They were in pretty much 'don't even bother calling us' mode up here in MN.

He was The Man in Black's royalty guy.

Driving down I35 the other day and a suburban passed me with IPDCASH on his plates. I wonder if he gets his financial advice from cf since everyone here knows that's the only way.
I have noticed that the radio show is now called "The Ramsey Show" and one or two other, younger folks are answering calls. Well, that's from one time I heard it a couple of weekends ago.

The vixen's sister is an RN and she's debating. Hard to believe, but the myths persist.

I managed to get a vaccine shot because there were some "spares" at work. Had the second shot on Saturday. First shot left my arm really sore...sorer than if I got a tetanus booster. Second shot...I got a headache nearly exactly 24 hours after receiving it. Nothing terrible, and I'm a wimp when it comes to headaches. Dose of acetamenophine, and I was good. (Nurse that administered the shot said no ibuprofen or naproxen 48 hours after the shot)
