Not going to get expectations too high but wanted to discuss how many of our players fit in a Big XII quality rotation.

First and foremost gotta get that PG, hopefully we hold on to Hunter. If not TJ has to find someone because obviously we don't have a guy that can do the job. However, I do feel comfortable with Walker maintaining his current role as a wing rotation guy then be our backup PG.

Bolton obviously needs to be one of our primary scorers at the 2. I think Harris or Jackson cold be solid next year as his backup.

Our bigger wing is a ?. Doubt we get JCL back. Walker and Nunn not sure we have a legitimate starter there for next season. Hinson would be great if we add a four. If not this is a must add spot.

The 4, we need a guy. Maybe that guy committed to TJ last November? Regardless we have to find a guy that can upgrade our presence on the boards. Johnson, Dubar, Blackwell? Is there a rotation backup there? IDK.

Finally the post. Need to hang on to both these guys and add a third. Big XII quality? Not yet, we'll have to see where they're at this fall.

Why again didn’t prohm take Bowen Born? Still erks me. Like just because he isn’t a likely nba guy we don’t take a guy that has opportunity to be a very good college player.

Same reason no other P6 offered: Slow. Really slow laterally. Short without explosiveness. He will be good in the MVC.

that is not even close to an accurate description of Borne. Short yes, dude has massive explosion and can dunk. Also has speed. I get if you don’t want him but the only thing you got right is that he is short

Way up there
I'm honestly not really concerned about exactly who is back, we have a group of solid role players but it's going to take Hunter being legit and 2 other big 12 caliber starters coming in to make us competitive next year. I would just like TJ to not be looking at filling 4 or 5 schollies every year. Keep enough guys around to have somewhat balanced classes and trust TJ can hit it big with transfers or highly rated recruits the next few years while the Prohm guys bleed out of the program. Hopefully offering an alpha role can land him a big fish.

Hes 6’1” and he can dunk? Holy **** dude amazing! Watch a game or two. He looks slow in the MVC. Again, I doubt every P6 missed their evaluation on him.

I know lots of guys who can dunk. That doesn’t make them high major basketball players. It also doesnt make someone laterally quick.

If there is one thing TJ can do is bring in talent. I’m not concerned about that. Anyone have word on his assistants yet?

I’m sure he looked fast in high school especially against non D1 players. That’s probably where that guy saw him play.

He is fast and very athletic. He proved it being freshman of the year. He biggest problem wasn’t athletic ability being slow. It’s that he’s a 5’10 inch white guy from small town Iowa. The description you guys are giving is terrible. At least describe the kid right.

Honestly, the list of guys I feel we really MUST find a way to keep are Hunter, Bolton, Foster, Walker, Nunn, and maybe Harris? JCL and Hinson too if they are interested in coming back?

Wouldn’t care if anyone else left, and a few I won’t name that I’d prefer if they left.

No, it’s that he’s short and slow. That is not something that can be part of a plus player in the Big 12.
