What is the time frame on "imminent" ? At some point imminent becomes "probable" doesn't it?
He better not have a huge buyout in case he can't turn it around. Give him four years to get back into the tourney, if he can't then we move on. I also hope we're not footing the bill to buy him out at UNLV. If we're throwing money around like that we ought to get more of a proven product.

I know JP wants us to temper expectations, but that will take a lot of patience.

I’ve tried to move on to the acceptance phase and the joy in knowing we will never have another god damned search with TJ.
When Jamie comes out and says don't read into all the rumors until anything is confirmed and then the TJ news comes out that night, it sure seems like a smoke screen to me and that the hire is someone else. If it is TJ, it was not my first choice, but I will want him to succeed just like every other coach. It could get really awkward if it doesn't work out and Jamie has to fire a really good friend of his.

I agree, but I know Jamie likes to drag his feet with these things. Plus he's hiring one of his buddies. If he thought firing Prohm was hard...
Let's just hope if this is true that TJ can right the ship.
