Sometimes being a good steward of the program isn’t supporting those making millions, as was the case with Prohm. That may be true with JP.

ok, let’s say you think JP needs to go. You really think trashing him on a message board is going to work? Better to lobby donors or stop donating or buying tickets. Message board trashing accomplishes nothing except making yourself and our fan base look trashy.

If it is TJ, I like it. His recruiting is top notch. I don't know his style of ball but am sure it is more offensive. I am fine with that. I have seen posters say we need a defensive guy as that is what the Big 12 is going to. I could care less what others do in the league. Take football. One of the mistakes Paul Rhoads did was to do what everybody else did in the Big 12. I was happy to see Matt Campbell do something different.

Yeah, why do we assume tj doesn’t understand the game? Seems odd to assume that.

I honestly think game day coaching is overrated. Even LE used to say it. Recruiting is a huge part of it, as is game planning, and Otz excels at both. I'm on board.

I've watched enough OU, KU, and Tech recently that I'm not sold on that notion.
Hell, I used to make fun of Scott Drew for timeout usage until Prohm would call them all the time after making shots.

I don't know why anyone would think that a leader in JP's position wouldn't have a very short list of potential candidates already vetted. Any AD that doesn't have that list in case of a tragedy wouldn't be someone I'd want in charge.

Well the job probably isn't even on the Iowa State job board yet. Unofficially TJ may have been offered the position and accepted it. But officially they are still going to go through the process
