People are just assuming and accepting that he’s the guy. That says more about the sad state of our program than anything.

every coach we’ve had Johnny - current has been an experiment of some kind. Whether the next guy is TJ or some other mid-major coach or Fred returning, it’s going to be an experiment again this time around.
Experiment is right. Let’s see if we can get a sub .500 mountain west coach to not suck in the big 12.
Sad part is the state of the program isn't likely to change if T.J. is the next head coach.
If T.J. is the next coach, what you have witnessed the last couple years is what you’ll witness with his coaching. His UNLV team resembles ISU(Prohm) so much, you’d think they were coached by the same guy.
Here’s an idea- stop trying to pass yourself off as some sort of insider when you’re obviously not.
Pollard needs to hire a head coach that can establish some kind of identity. UNLV doesn't have one under T.J.
TJ will keep the Prohm era alive and well. Prohm ball foreva.
If it is TJ, I really hope he kills it here because this thread is going to be GREAT to bump.
Fran said tonight 8/10 coaches have made an elite eight. Prohm and Boynton only who haven’t. That being said we gotta get a proven coach like Matta, Beilein. Getting TJ or a young guy won’t do in the competitive big 12

Haha so you’re mad I don’t have ground breaking info.. you are correct. I haven’t been able to find out anything no matter who I’ve asked. People were all on here saying it was for sure TJ and I asked a source who would for sure know if it was going to be TJ and they said they didn’t know as of yet. They also said that last time Prohm was hired they weren’t told until it was essentially done. Jeez.
This is the first season in my lifetime that I actively avoided watching games, and I’ve been a fan of Cyclone MBB for 27 years now. It has been embarrassing and painful to witness and for our guys, I can’t imagine what they are feeling after this season. The apathy I feel is going to take a special hire for me to even get excited again about next year.
I’ll watch and give anyone a chance, but it’s possible Steve Prohm may have actually killed my interest in Cyclone hoops...the off-season is so badly needed. I’m sure I’ll be right back following once some excitement and hope is rekindled but this is a new feeling and I hope it’s not permanent.

Oh, I know...loyal son, forever true...just haven’t ever felt this way as a fan and I doubt I am the only one.
You’re not. Lots of us feel the exact same way. Personally, I use humor to mask my emotions. We’ll be back!
